ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
ITINERARY
First Stop: Kostanj Bay on Ugljan Island
Guided by our knowledgeable skipper, we will navigate to the serene waters of Kostanj Bay. Here, you can explore the underwater world through snorkeling or refresh yourself with a swim or playful moments in the shallow areas. For those who prefer to stay dry, enjoy the deck of our luxurious boat, where our crew will serve you refreshing drinks and local snacks.
Second Stop: Ošljak Island
Our next destination is the Ošljak island. Ošljak is a small island in the Zadar Channel with only 23 permanent residents living in the island’s sole small village. Locally known as Lazaret, it served as a quarantine for ships entering Zadar during the Middle Ages. The island is surrounded by pine trees, with a walking path that encircles it and offers panoramic views of the Zadar Channel from a 90m hill in the middle. On the northern side of the island, there is a beautiful small beach. For those not interested in walking around the island, will find positions for snorkeling and exploring the underwater scenery around the entire island.
Final Stop: Preko village on Ugljan Island
Preko is the largest village on the island of Ugljan, resembling a charming little town. It boasts a beautiful promenade filled with restaurants and cafes offering local cuisine. In front of the village is the islet of Galevac, home to the Franciscan monastery, a church, and a small museum. To reach the islet, a unique rowboat, steered by a traditional boatman (barkariol), is available, or you can opt to swim the short distance of only 80 meters. Preko also boasts the stunning sandy beach of Jaz, equipped with all the amenities for enjoyment and relaxation.
